Truth and Dolphin perform a style of slam poetry set to idiosyncratic folk rock.
Originating in Victoria BC, their first album “Chronicles of Living Memory, Part 1” received radio play across Canadian university radio and public radio, making the top 10 for three months in Kamloops’ CFBX-FM.
With tea merchant Jared Nyberg on vocals, visual arts painter Steve Chmilar (former lead singer of 2000’s The Villain’s) on guitar, loop and back up vocals, and multi-instrumentalist and fellow songwriter Cory Christiansen on back up vocals, guitar and banjo. Sister Speak’s Sherri Anne lends her vocals and guitar for select shows.
The Musical Tea for Peace Tour combines the art of ancient tea with live music in support of SaveTheChildren.org humanitarian relief, and has Truth and Dolphin joined by an ever changing roster of incredible special guests such as Juno award-winning Blues artist Lester Q.
