Truth and Dolphin perform a style of slam poetry set to idiosyncratic folk rock.
Originating in Victoria BC, their first album “Chronicles of Living Memory, Part 1” received radio play across Canadian university radio and public radio, making the top 10 for three months in Kamloops’ CFBX-FM.
With tea merchant Jared Nyberg on vocals, visual arts painter Steve Chmilar (former lead singer of 2000’s The Villain’s) on guitar, loop and back up vocals, they are often joined by multi-instrumentalist and fellow songwriter Cory Christiansen, with Sister Speak’s Sherri Anne lending her vocals and guitar for select shows.
Embarking on the Musical Tea for Peace Tour in July, they are combining the art of tea and music in support of SaveTheChildren.org humanitarian relief, and will be joined by an ever changing roster of incredible special guests such as Juno award-winning Blues artist Lester Q.
